Craig Stepp
Pastor of Preaching and Teaching
Craig Stepp joined the staff in 2008 as an Associate Pastor and was installed in 2017 as the Senior Pastor. Following the transition of our Pastors to a Pastoral Team in 2021, Craig took on the role of Pastoring and Teaching. Craig is a graduate of Southeastern Bible Theological Seminary and is a native of Henderson County. He owns and operates Craig's Tree Service. He and his wife, Ranee, have three children: Brock, Tatum and Clayton.

Pastor Craig Stepp came on staff in December 2008 as the Associate Pastor. On February 19, 2017 he was installed as the Senior Pastor of Fruitland Baptist Church. Upon the transition of our pastors to a pastoral team in 2021, Pastor Craig assumed the role of Pastor of Preaching and Teaching.
Pastor Craig is a native of Henderson County. He graduated from West Henderson High School, Mars Hill College, and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
He and his wife Ranee have three children - Brock, Tatum, and Clayton.

Chris Pace
Pastor of Care and Discipleship
Chris Pace is the pastor of discipleship, and care ministry at Fruitland Baptist Church. He is a Henderson County native and has been employed in the Henderson County Public Schools for eighteen years. He has been married to Kim for thirty- eight years and has two children and five grandchildren. He has been in the ministry for over twenty-nine years and has preached all over the western North Carolina area.
Chris Pace
Pastor of Care and Discipleship
Pastor Chris Pace joined our pastoral team as the Pastor of Care and Discipleship on November 21, 2021 after the church voted to transition to a pastoral team.
Pastor Chris is a life long native of Henderson County and a graduate of East Henderson High School. Pastor Chris has led and served numerous churches in his 20+ years of ministry and discipled countless individuals.
He and his wife Kim have been married for 36 years and have two children, Darin and Danielle, and four grandchildren.

William Hardin
Pastor of Ministries
Pastor Willian Hardin became our Associate Pastor in June 2017. After our pastoral transition Pastor William now serves as our Pastor of Ministries and Students.
Pastor William is a native of Henderson County and is a graduate of North Henderson High School. He graduated from Liberty University and is currently working on his Doctorate at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
He and his wife Allison have two daughters and one son - London, Isabel ("Izzie"), and Coen.

Pastor Willian Hardin became our Associate Pastor in June 2017. After our pastoral transition Pastor William now serves as our Pastor of Ministries and Students.

Candi Mains
Children's Director
Candi Mains was appointed in 2018 Children’s Director of Fruitland Baptist Church. Candi has been with Fruitland for two decades, teaching and guiding children to Christ. She is currently a third grade teacher at Hendersonville Elementary. Candi and her husband, Dave, have two children: Walker and Mattie.

Candi graduated from North Henderson High School and Mars Hill College. She teaches second grade at Hendersonville Elementary School.

Zack Minnick
Youth Ministry Director
Zack Minnick became the youth ministry director at Fruitland Baptist Church in September 2023. He is also the director of student recruitment at Fruitland Baptist Bible College. He earned a degree from Fruitland Baptist Bible College and is currently studying at the College at Southeastern. He and his wife, Lauren, have two kids, Kylie and Jasper.

Lorri Rhodes
Administrative Assistant
Lorri Rhodes joined the Fruitland staff as the Administrative Assistant in 2017. She is a graduate of UNC Asheville with a bachelor's degree in Financial Management. She is a pianist for the Fruitland Baptist worship team. Lorri and her husband, Don, have two sons, Dalton and Austin, and are expecting their first grandchild this summer.

Lorri Rhodes became our Administrative Assistant in January 2017.
Lorri graduated from Edneyville High School and the University of North Carolina at Asheville. She also plays the piano for us.
She and her husband Don have two sons - Dalton and Austin.
